The well-known tree Neem which is found all over India is commonly used externally as well as intenally in skin diseases. Neem helps to purify blood and in turn works on skin condition like acne. It possesses anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. Neem is useful in Krumi (intestinal worms), Arsha (piles) and improves functions of digestive system. It helps in healing wounds and is also useful in nausea, vomiting and Meha. By its Rakta Shuddhikar and Kledaghna properties it is effective in skin ailments associated with secretions and itching.
