Mahasudarshan Kwath prepared from ingredients such as Musta, Parpat, Shunthi, Nimba etc. is effective in various types of fevers. Mahasudarshan kwath is useful for Aamapachan in Aamjanya Vikar. Due to ingredients acting on Rasavaha and Raktavaha strotas, it is especially beneficial in Jwara. Yakrut and Pleeha are Moola Sthan of Raktavaha Strotas. Due to specific action on these two organs, this kalpa is very effective in infective diseases like Vishamjwar, Chikungunya etc.
