It is useful in disorders such as weight gain, hyperlipidemic condition caused due to sedentary lifestyle and improper diet. Vidangadya Loha is also useful in Meha Vyadhi. Being a Loha Kalpa, it is also beneficial in Raktalpata associated with Sthoulya (excess weight gain).
Each tablet contains Vidanga (Embelia ribes) Fruit choorna, Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) Fruit pericarp choorna, Bibhitaka (Terminalia belerica) Fruit pericarp choorna, Amalaki (Emblica officinalis) Fruit pericarp choorna, Musta (Cyperus rotundus) Rhizome choorna, Pippali (Piper longum) Fruit choorna, Shunthi (Zingiber officinale) Rhizome choorna, Bilva phala (Aegle marmelos) Fruit pulp choorna, Chandana (Shveta) (Santalum album) Heart wood choorna, Rheebera (Pavonia odorata) Fibrous root choorna, Patha (Cissampelos pareira) Root choorna, Ushira (Vetiveria zizanioides) Fibrous root choorna, Bala (Sida cordifolia) Root choorna each 9.615 mg, Loha Bhasma 125 mg.

The Bhasma with Ushna, Deepan, Pachan, Grahi activity, prepared from 'Shankha' (Conch Shell). It improves digestion and also helps in absorbing excessive liquid content. Most useful in Digestive disorders like Amlapitta, Agnimandya, Chhardi, Ajeerna, etc.
The Bhasma prepared from 'Suvarnamakshik' which has mainly 'Loha' acts as Rasayan, Raktaprasadak, Pittashamak, Stambhak, Balya, Yogavahi. Useful in Amlapitta by reducing Sama, Drava guna of Pitta. Acts as Hrudbalya in symptoms like palpitation, etc.
The Suvarnakalpa especially effective in various types of Jwara as well as Sannipatik and Vishamjwara.
Kukkutandatvak Bhasma is excellent Asthi-Mansa-Dhatuposhak, Vardhak, Rasayan, Vajikar Bhasma prepared by heating Kukkutandatvak (Egg-shell) in presence of Changeri Swarasa. It is rich, easily assimilable Calcium. Useful in Asthikshaya,Fractures, etc.
